An immersion blender is a kitchen appliance used for blending soups, sauces, and other liquids. An immersion blender is basically a stick with a blender blade at its end.

How the immersion blender differs from a regular blender

This is different from a regular blender is that instead of pouring the liquid into the blender and turning it on, the immersion blender is poured into a container of liquid (for example, like a pot of soup). You will then rotate the immersion blender in the entire liquid to ensure that it is evenly mixed.

When you are able to work with a large amount of pureed soup or any other product, it is filled with more than one blender, which needs blending in batches. Then you have to use another container to keep the mixed soup while you finish work. Which means using the first (unblended) container, the second (blended) container, and the blender. Using an immersion blender allows you to mix only the soup in its original pot.

Powerful enough to process all types of foods

A good immersion blender should be powerful enough to process all types of foods, including cooked meat, potatoes, vegetables, and so on. Some household immersion mixtures are mainly used for blending drinks, lubricating, etc. Obviously, more heavy-duty models will be more expensive.
